Alison Bell
Alison is a
member of the Great Britain Hockey Squad with over 107 caps for Scotland. This
year, Alison has been working with a group of pupils at Brechin High School in Angus.
Date of Birth: 5th September 1984
How and why did you get involved in your sport? I started playing in secondary school when I was about 14 years old. I just wanted to get involved in another sport. I was involved in the national set up for tennis and therefore was doing a lot of training for that and I wanted to be involved in a team sport.
Your finest sporting moment? Winning bronze at the Champions Challenge and competing at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi –they are both highlights!
Who has been your toughest opponent and why? Holland because they are the best team in the World.
What is your advice for getting to the top: Hard work, dedication & belief can go a long way.

What is your ultimate ambition? To represent Scotland at the next Commonwealth Games and to win a medal.
